Modi Govt Earns Rs 4,405 Crore from Scrap Sale Since 2021

• The Centre has generated 4,405.28 crore rupees from scrap disposal under the cleanliness campaign since 2021.
• In January, 81,322 unnecessary files were screened, and 5,57,852 public grievances were resolved.
• Approximately 4.34 lakh square feet of office space has been freed up, with major contributions from the Ministry of Coal and Ministry of Heavy Industries.
• Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Heavy Industries, and Ministry of Coal significantly contributed to the 115.85 crore rupees income from scrap disposal last month.
• 93.81 percent of files created in January 2026 are e-files, and 65 ministries/departments adopted at least 90 percent e-files.
