Mumbai Metro Yellow Line: New Stations, Faster Travel by 2026

Mumbai Metro Line 2B (Yellow Line) will connect DN Nagar (Andheri West) to Mandala (Mankhurd East), easing east-west travel.
•
The 23.64-kilometer line aims to alleviate traffic congestion on the Sion-Panvel Highway, especially during peak hours.
•
An important station, Chembur Metro Station, is part of the first phase and is expected to open for passengers by April 2026.
•
Other stations include ESIC Nagar, Bandra, Kurla East, Diamond Garden, and Mankhurd, among others.
•
The entire route is projected to be operational between 2026 and 2027, connecting with Metro 1, 2, 3, local trains, and monorail.
