• The 4.2-kilometer emergency landing stretch, built along the Moran Bypass in Dibrugarh district, cost Rs 100 crore.
• The facility is designed for Indian Air Force fighter jets and transport aircraft during emergencies, accommodating up to 74 tonnes.
• PM Modi watched a 20-minute aerial demonstration after landing, showcasing operational readiness.
• He is also set to inaugurate the Rs 3,000 crore Kumar Bhaskar Varma Setu across the Brahmaputra river in Guwahati.
