•SJVN's Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station (NJHPS) achieved 150 billion units of cumulative power generation.
•The historic milestone was reached on Monday, reaffirming its significant contribution to clean energy.
•Commissioned in May 2004, NJHPS is the country's largest underground hydro power station.
•It has consistently demonstrated exceptional operational reliability and serves as a cornerstone of the northern power grid.
•NJHPS recorded its highest annual generation of 7,610 million units in FY 2011-12, monthly 1,222 million units in July 2024, and daily 39.57 million units on August 13, 2024.
